Most people have a very inaccurate perception of how many calories are in the foods they consume – especially if they are not labeled! When serving sizes are listed as grams that can be extremely hard to decipher how big a serving actually in! It is especially tough to determine when eating out because you don’t know how that food was prepared or what the ingredients were!
I ran across this video and thought I would share it with you all to hopefully providing just an brief insight into how fast calories can add up!
Now, it is important to remember that 2,000 calories is just an “average” intake recommendation for the general populations. The amount of calories one requires to maintain their current weight will vary depending on gender, age, height, weight, muscle mass and activity level.
Please don’t misinterpret this video by thinking you should only rely on bacon for your day’s worth of calories!
